The Tour-X4 features a new outer shell. Redesigned to be tougher, stronger and tougher than ever. As the Tour-X4 can be used in extreme conditions, the ventilation system has been redeveloped for maximum performance. The new Facial Contour System (FCS) offers more support and comfort to the lower jaw and creates a tighter fit. For an even better personal fit, there is a removable 5mm surface foam layer on the cheek pads and head pad. It can be used without a visor with glasses, without a visor but with a visor, any way that suits you. The large visor opening offers plenty of space for motocross goggles when riding without goggles. The ventilation system now uses completely new diffusers increasing the flow of hot and humid air from the helmet. Customization and Comfort To provide an even better fit and improve comfort in the lower jaw, the Facial Contour System (FCS) works with a spring-loaded cheek support that compresses and rebounds. Removable 5mm thick foam layer on cheek pads and top. Offering more space if desired without having to purchase optional cheek or headrest cushions.

Removable interior. For the removable / washable interior, Arai's exclusive Dry-Cool® lining material is used. The liner dries much faster than conventional fabrics. Characteristic chin vent. The new chin vent was designed with two goals in mind: better performance and better looks. The cheek pads have an emergency release system and can be removed in seconds by simply pulling the tabs. This makes removing the helmet much easier and minimizes the risk of additional injury.
